A global vision for digital education
The event kicked off with a presentation from C&C and our Education teams, followed by our partners, to establish the foundations of our support model: pedagogical, technical, and logistical.
Participants then explored practical applications through hands-on iPad sessions, demonstrating exactly how these devices are integrated into the classroom. An inspiring testimonial video rounded out this introduction, highlighting a digital project deployed in a school and the observed benefits for teaching practices.
Discussing challenges and use cases
Several keynote sessions addressed the major stakes of digital technology in schools, including:
The role of iPad in Education, presented by Apple Education.
Financing solutions for digital projects, with BNP Paribas.
A roundtable discussion then brought together various members of the educational community to share experiences on change management, securing usage, and the impact of digital tools on learning outcomes.
Workshops for practical implementation
Workshops led by our partners and teacher-trainers allowed attendees to discover concrete solutions:
Tabuléo: Reducing backpack weight through digital textbooks and enriched educational resources.
Foxar: An essential application providing interactive and immersive content on iPad.
Jamf Teacher & Jamf Parent: Two vital tools for managing and securing iPads both in the classroom and at home.
Accessibility: Leveraging the iPad’s native, built-in tools that adapt the device to every learner's needs.
Google Workspace: Creating a collaborative environment on the iPad.
The dialogue between participants helped foster a learning community, encouraging the sharing of experiences, the pooling of best practices, and the collective exploration of possibilities based on real-world situations encountered in schools.
Validating and structuring digital projects
Elodie Thédenat presented the Digital Excellence Label (Label Excellence Numérique) as a lever to recognize, promote, and organize a school's digital initiatives. Subsequently, thematic workshops addressed key issues such as usage security, assessing learning with the iPad, and involving the entire educational community in building a shared digital vision.
School visit and field feedback
To conclude the Bordeaux Summit, participants had the opportunity to visit classrooms at the Lycée Assomption Sainte Clothilde to observe daily digital usage in action. This visit was complemented by a case study of an iPad digital project led in a school, putting the summit's discussions and lessons into perspective with real-world reality.
An event defined by sharing
This latest edition of the Bordeaux Summit once again proves the importance of these gatherings in supporting schools with their digital projects. C&C is proud to offer an annual event that promotes exchange, experience sharing, and the collective construction of useful, concrete digital projects.
