In 2019, Lycée Saint-Michel de Blanquefort made a bold choice: to equip all of its students with an iPad. Since the beginning, C&C, an Apple Education Authorized Reseller, has been supporting the school in its digital deployment.

A digital project in line with the school's values
Lycée Saint-Michel welcomes nearly 600 students across five sectors: hotel and catering, bakery and pastry, reception and sales, health and animation, and sports.
The iPad fits perfectly into the school's educational project, which aims to place the student at the heart of their journey. Digital technology is an opportunity to reinvent the way of teaching and learning: more fun, more creative, more collaborative. Furthermore, it helps to lighten the weight of school bags by replacing paper textbooks and notebooks.
The iPad, a structured and reassuring tool for families
The school has ensured that the iPad remains a work tool, a guarantee of trust and serenity for parents. Its use is supervised by applications like Jamf School and Jamf Parent, which limit access to educational functions and guarantee an educational use.
For Ethan, a student in professional catering, the adoption of the iPad was natural: "The iPad is a very structured educational tool, which reassures my parents. I am independent, and they trust me with my screen time."
This clear framework allows families to enter into co-education with the teams and young people. Students, meanwhile, benefit from a positive and structured use, at home as well as at school.
The iPad to simplify student organization
Among the benefits most often highlighted by students, improved organization comes first. No need to carry a pile of notebooks and binders: everything is grouped in the iPad.
Class notes are accessible in a few seconds, and sharing documents with teachers is simplified.
Educational applications complement traditional materials. Whether it's interactive quizzes, explanatory videos, or online exercises, students appreciate this way of learning that makes difficult subjects more accessible.
The three words that summarize the experience of most students highlight this classroom experience: organization, intuitive, and sharing. This dynamic fully reflects the principles of cooperative pedagogy, which promotes mutual aid, shared responsibility, and active learning where each student contributes to the construction of collective knowledge.
The iPad at the service of teachers and pedagogical methods
For teachers, the arrival of the iPad has renewed teaching practices. For Franck Clémenceau, digital referent and cooking teacher, the transformation is clear: "The use of the iPad has truly revolutionized our way of working. Classes are more dynamic, exercises are corrected live, and technical skills can be filmed and replayed as many times as necessary."
In culinary technology as in other disciplines, the iPad enriches classes with videos, demonstrations, and digital references. It complements traditional know-how and becomes a real pedagogical ally for active and explicit teaching.
Effective C&C support is at the heart of this success
This kind of project can't be improvised. From the very beginning, the school worked closely with the C&C team to train teachers and prepare the ground for a large-scale deployment.
This support remains a key factor in the project's success. It includes pedagogical training to help teachers make the most of the tool. This plan is custom-designed to meet teachers' specific needs. Responsive technical support is also in place to quickly resolve any issues and answer questions. In addition, C&C's proximity to the school facilitates communication and ensures effective follow-up.
The iPad, a successful bet
The iPad is now an integral part of daily school life. Teachers and students no longer see it as a "novelty," but as an essential tool.
With the support of C&C, Lycée Saint-Michel has succeeded in transforming a digital ambition into a real pedagogical lever. A success that illustrates how technology, when well-conceived and well-supported, can become a driver of engagement and success for young people.
